TRUMP WARNS: Republicans Running Against Me Would be “Very Disloyal”

While Donald Trump hasn’t officially announced another run for president in 2024, he gave a message to members of his former administration, including Mike Pence, that running against him would be “very disloyal.”

In an interview with Brian Kilmeade on Fox News Radio, Trump sidestepped questions about when he would announce a run, but took a shot at potential Republican challengers.

“Mr. President, when will you decide if you’re going to run in 2024?” Kilmeade asked. “And how would you handle running against people in your Cabinet like Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Mike Pence?”

“Well, many of them have said they would never run if I run,” Trump replied. “So, we’ll see whether or not that turns out to be true. I think it’d be very disloyal if they, but that’s okay too. And the polls have me leading by 40, 50 points.”

Trump wouldn’t say what his 2024 plans are, but said to expect an announcement in the “not-too-distant future,” though he has said something like that multiple times before.

Trump also predicted a “red wave” in the upcoming midterm elections and said he thinks Vladimir Putin could use nuclear weapons as his war in Ukraine falters.

He also revealed that he’s planning to sue “very sleazy” journalist Bob Woodward of Watergate fame, who recently announced that he will be releasing hours of audio of interviews he conducted with Trump.

  1. this man is so so honorable, a little brainy and smart or on whatever spectrum it is all filled with kindness…his father was the same…..to anyone who hurts this man…..I trust they will be tarnished from their behavior….evii always is finished

  2. Reading the headline I thought Trump is crazy but after hearing the recording it makes a lot of sense what he says in context of his entire conversation. I don’t understand why ywn has to copy the liberal mainstream media and sensationalize whatever Trump is saying.

  3. I was a Trump supporter, and I’m not anymore. This guy’s way-to-big ego has gotten him into a lot of trouble. We need a more mainstream Republican candidate.

  4. Does anyone have a count of how many actual lawsuits he has brought and won, as a percentage of the total number he has brought? And how about a count of how many suits he has threatened and actually commenced? My guess is that both percentages are low.

  5. For those of us who would much rather have someone like Governor DeSantis or Ted Cruz sitting in the Oval Office, these headlines are very worrisome. The media is repeating the same exact mistakes that led to Trump‘s election in the first place. Trying to convince his voters that he’s evil or unstable is exactly what turns them on the most. Try the same things and expect different results….

  6. He’s right! This country is in decline but he is no longer the man to fix it! Nikki Halley or Mike Pence are much more electable choices. This man is absolutely no longer electable.

  7. “TRUMP WARNS: Republicans Running Against Me Would be “Very Disloyal””

    This headline is misleading.

He didn’t warn against anything. He simply asserted that if a Republican from his administration were to run against him then he would consider that to be “Very Disloyal” to him.

    A better headline would be:
“TRUMP: Republicans Running Against Me Would be “Very Disloyal” to me”

  8. I can’t stand Trump but like usual the headlines about him don’t match what he actually said. Not only that he is actually being pretty magnanimous

He didn’t say Republicans Running Against Me Would be “Very Disloyal”. He said former members of his cabinet who run against him would be. He is correct about that. It is (was?) considered wrong in American politics to run against the person who appointed you and made you into a politician worthy of consideration for higher office. Even so Trump still says it would be OK for them to run…

  9. He is correct! This country is in decline, but he is no longer the man to turn things around! Nikki Halley and Mike Pence are far more electable candidates. This individual is no longer a viable candidate.
