BALD-FACED LIAR: Fauci Claims He “Had Nothing to Do” with School Shutdowns [SEE THE VIDEO]

In an apparent attempt to save the last shreds of his credibility before he retires, Dr. Anthony Fauci insisted in an interview earlier this week that he was not at all responsible for nationwide school shutdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In an interview with ABC, Fauci was asked whether it was a mistake to shut down schools for so long. Fauci first defended the shutdowns, pointing to Covid-19 fatalities among children, but then pivoted.

“If you go back, and I ask anybody to go back over the number of times that I’ve said we’ve got to do everything we can to keep the schools open, no one plays that clip,” he said. “They always come back and say, ‘Fauci is responsible for closing the schools.’ I had nothing to do [with it], I mean, let’s get down to the facts.”

Despite his denial, there’s plenty of evidence that Fauci did indeed support school shutdowns.

In March 2020, Fauci told PBS: “So, clearly, in certain circumstances, particularly in areas where there’s community spread, the schools should be closed.”

Even as late as September 2020, Fauci said that schools should only reopen “once the virus is under control.”

The widespread shutdown of schools in the earlier months of the pandemic have come under increasing scrutiny and criticism lately, as study after study shows the terrible toll it took on children, including skyrocketing mental health issues and a steep dive in academic abilities.

  1. No, Mr Eliezer, the Wuhan virus did not cause schools to close down. It is only a virus; it has no power to close schools. Closing the schools was a deliberate decision made by human beings, a criminally stupid and senseless decision, and that decision was made, in part, at Fauci’s urging. That makes him partially responsible.

  2. The fraud is the biggest liar since his HIV tenure. Even as a skeptic, Read RFK Jr’s book (The real AF, all reference footnotes provided therein. Free at archive.org).

    His biggest COVID lies, quite:
    1. “When people are vaccinated they can feel safe that they’re not goona get infected”.
    2. “…take them [jabs] to protect your family and break the chain of transmission.”
Considering now than even Pfizer just admitted to EU parliament that transmission prevention was never in the cards, so he knew all along.

I’m not even going to the original Fomite nonsense, Denial of lab theory, GoF, etc. Ironically the only truth this professional shakran said is the one he publicly admitted deliberately lying about on masks (to prevent a run-off on supply).

  3. @jpa – RFK Jr’s book ‘The Real Anthony Fauci’ is a NYT bestseller. It’s now a documentary by the same name – currently free to watch as well.

It is that, but, here, it’s much worse than that. It was intentional, as in ViHaKesef Yaaneh es HaKol, not “merely” someone fooled by his גאוה.

  5. Except for a few weird areas (e.g. cruise ships), the decision was made by other federal agencies (under Donald Trump’s direction) or by the state and local governments. Fauci may have misstated facts (perhaps deliberately, but perhaps not), but it wasn’t his “call” to close down schools, businesses and other vital systems. He opened door to politicians to grab power and spend money they didn’t have, which is sort of like offering candy to a baby (or drugs to an addict, or alcohol to a drunkard), but he didn’t actually hand out the candy (drugs, booze)- just told them where it was and let them do the rest.
