TRUMP WARNS: There Will be “Problems Like We’ve Never Seen” if He’s Indicted [SEE THE VIDEO]

Former President Donald Trump said that if he winds up indicted by the Justice Department over his handling of classified documents, the United States would face “problems… the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen,” apparently suggesting that his supporters would riot.

Speaking to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump said that even if he is indicted, “I would have no prohibition against running” for president in 2024, adding that “I think if it happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”

Hewitt asked what Trump meant by “problems.”

“I think they’d have big problems. Big problems,” Trump replied. “I just don’t think they’d stand for it. They will not sit still and stand for this ultimate of hoaxes.”

The radio host then asked what Trump would say when the “legacy media” accuses him of inciting violence if he’s indicted and his supporters riot.

“That’s not inciting. I’m just saying what my opinion is,” Trump said. “I don’t think the people of this country would stand for it.”

“Do you feel like the Department of Justice is trying to indict you?” Hewitt asked.

“There’s no reason that they can, other than if they’re just sick and deranged, which is always possible,” the former president replied.

  1. He’s right. Such a brazen move would be very likely to provoke riots. And those riots would be far more justified than the ones following George Floyd’s death, which every Democrat and every person in the news industry publicly defended. If it happens I’m unlikely to riot myself, but I will donate to the bail fund for those who do, and that bitch Kamala Harris had better not complain.

  2. The American people are not scared of Trump’s mafia-like tactics. The man is a crook and needs to be held accountable. No one is above the law. You can’t just pressure people to “find votes” and cart off top secret docs to your country club and expect to get away with it. The MAGA folk will always defend their cult leader, but most Americans see Trump for what he is.

  3. Though I really appreciate everything that Donald Trump did and accomplished while in office, this really sounds to me like a threat to incite another riot, and I don’t think he’s doing himself any favors by saying things like this.

  4. Can’t stand Trump but he is correct about this. If he gets indicted for some vague crime like holding documents for the sake of the DOJ and the US itself Trump sure better be found to be (1) clearly hoarding classified intelligence (2)in a way that is clearly different than Hillary Clinton and other high profile Democrats accused of the same thing. Otherwise they will have put their entire (already diminished and diminishing further) credibility on the line for the sake of this investigation. They will also have normalized aggressive investigations into political enemies on the grounds of “suspicions” or unequally applied laws.

Trump does not call for rioting anywhere in this clip but to quote Martin Luther King “A riot is the voice of the unheard” The liberal viewpoint of looking for “root causes” after riots will certainly apply if Trump supporters riot over what they see to be an unfair indictment. They should realize that before

  5. Lock him up! No one should be above the law.

As to comparing the level of the crimes. It only helps if you are willing to listen and not just convince yourself to believe Trump’s lies. Trump lied and lied to the DOJ about the documents he had and triggered this warrant and even if the initial holding of the documents would not have been criminal he changed his actions to willful behavior as well as potentially perjury, obstruction of justice, and perhaps wire fraud. Anyone else doing such a thing would have been indicted and facing a jail sentence in short time. Republicans were not forgiving of Bill Clinton lying about a personal matter and impeached him over that, so here where it involves handling of government documents including ones that have relevance to national security how does anyone excuse this behavior and still suggest if he gets indicted there should be riots.

But to make it simple… if Trump is raising these threats then he knows he is seriously guilty of something and that indictment is coming. He always telegraphs this stuff in advance to see what type of talk or behavior he can get away with before fully committing. He wants to see how much support there is for riots before taking it to the next level.

  6. Why does YWN not have an ability to flag inappropriate comments to the editor? Do they care even less than the general media about vulgar and offensive comments?
