An individual who ran a shaimos truck in Lakewood took money from Lakewood residents to bury their shaimos, only to abandon them in two local storage units that are now up for auction.
The shocking discovery was made by a frum moving company, whose owner immediately called local officials to get their help in ensuring the proper burial of the shaimos. Those who visited the storage units say there is believed to be enough shaimos in the storage units to fill an 18-wheeler tractor trailer. In fact, one of the units is so stuffed with shaimos that they haven’t been able to open the door yet.

Drop them off at Bill Laudien’s house in Lancaster. I heard he is in the market for Shaimos.
There are so many reputable organizations and mosdos that handle shaimos properly, its amazing that some yidden will engage with these fraudsters, especially in a place like Lakewood.
Our media need to fair here. First, the name of this fraudster must be publicized. There can be beis din litigation first, but only publicity can insure that he cannot be machshil anyone else with this criminal activity. Next, the customers who were defrauded need to be compensated. BD has their work cut out for them.
Not the first time such has happened. There was a similar case in Flatbush a couple of years ago. Don’t trust your shamous disposal to some unknown guy with a truck. The one I trust with shamos is Yanky Pinter on 14th Ave, an erlich yid with a long history of handling shamos properly.

This is definitely not good news for all people in the shaimos business but to my knowledge, in lakewood there are only 2 companies that actually bury their shaimos themselves the rest are just small companies that sell it to the burial companies and they do sell it usually and this doesnt happen that it just gets abandoned. But just make sure before giving over your shaimos that your giving it directly to a company that buries it themselves. I know from the past and ive have used them that Tri-State Shaimos is a very reliable company and everything is done k’halacha.
First of all it takes alot more than 2 units to fill an 18 wheeler tractor trialor. Now if you read the article that was posted on the lakewood scoop it says there that they are the ones thar purchased it and took care of the whole operation from start to finish. Of course there are reports still that they still cant open the door to one of the units it makes sense since they are totally incapable people who think their saving klal yisroel! Mind them that there were rabbonim involved from the start and were working on it to make sure it all gets taken care of but the lakewood scoop has to think their better than the rabbonim of lakewood and felt the need to mix in. Swallow the costs yourself if thats what you wanted to do. No one needs to hear about how you guys are heros and how it costed money to show how much the bid went for if all you want is kavod and also how you called the lakewood police department you guys are fools. Dont deal with projects that involve kedusha stick to posting accidents and the weather.
I don’t know if the management of the storage facility will be cooperative but I remember when I rented such a unit I had to provide my drivers license and credit card which they scanned. If Identified he can be charged with fraud.
There must be enough names in the seforim that people who gave to this fraudster can be tracked down. They should have enough information to be able to track down the ganav and bring him to justice.

Who said he has to bury it? Or maybe he’s getting to it and taking some time. Is there a deadline that it has to get done by that everyone can now call him a fraud?? Please. There’s obviously so much more to this story it’s a joke

If you’ve actually been using the Shaimos service you mentioned, you should go to all of the Yeshivos and Shuls in Flatbush and ask Mechila. Because that is where he “buries” his Shaimos.
