An FBI agent who has long been accused of political bias and more recently of suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story within the agency, is out the door.
FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault resigned from the agency last weekend and was escorted out of the building. He’s been in the news recently over accusations that he ran interference in the Hunter Biden investigation.
Thibault was explicitly named by Senate Judiciary ranking member Sen. Chuck Grassley in a July letter to FBI Director Chris Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland which cited whistleblowers who alleged a pattern of political bias from Thibault and others.
“As you are aware, Assistant Special Agent in Charge Tim Thibault is not the only politically biased FBI agent at the Washington Field Office,” Grassley wrote, adding that “the FBI answers to Congress and the American people.”
At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month, Wray said he found the whistleblower’s reports “deeply troubling” and that he removed Thibault from his supervisory role. Now, Thibault is gone altogether.
Thibault, one of 13 assistant special agents in charge at the Washington field office, was not involved at any level in the August 8 raid of Mar-a-Lago.

So basically even if Biden got a majority of the vote, he’s still an illegitimate president. If this surfaced corruption (uncovered by the NYpost) been given credence by the FBI, social media wouldn’t have quashed the story right before the election.
Similarly the FBI & DoJ opening the case on Hillary’s email server scandal gave Trump the presidency, eventhough MSM wasn’t publicizing it.

Stupidity seems rampant in D.C.
Justice Department and FBI leadership should be totally non-partisan. Full stop. No political donations, no fundraisers, no bumper stickers no social media postings. Nothing. If you find that too constraining, work somewhere else.
Grassley and his staff know that an Assistant SAIC cannot shut down a high level investigation, especially one involving a member of the President’s family. That decision would have to be made at the level of an Asst. AG or the AG himself. Yet, the keep repeating this ridiculous allegation.

Sad to see what our country law enforcement has done to the fabric of our society.
The Hunte coverup has been going on now for 3 years. I would wager that it will continue through the midterm election if not longer and scapegoating one crooked FBI agent will not change a thing. The problem runs deeper and wider and involves the whole federal bureaucracy. Remember Lois Lerner from the IRS?
