NY Gov. David Paterson’s campaign committee told the Associated Press on Sunday that it has raised more than $3.2 million in just over two months.
Fundraising for the 2010 gubernatorial election began in earnest on May 5, and more than 600 donors contributed, according to the campaign. It did not release details, saying a full accounting will be available from the state Board of Elections on Tuesday.
Most of the money was apparently raised at small events over the past several weeks.
Paterson formed his campaign committee on April 14, less than a month after he was sworn in as governor.
