Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, was arrested this weekend on suspicion of DUI in Northern California, police records showed Sunday.
Paul Pelosi was taken into custody late Saturday in Napa County north of San Francisco, according to a sheriff’s office online booking report.
He could face charges including driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher, the report said.
Pelosi’s bail was set for $5,000 for the two misdemeanors, records showed.
No other details were immediately available. California Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Barclay said more information would be released later Sunday.
Drew Hammill, spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi, told The Associated Press: “The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
The House speaker was in Providence, Rhode Island, on Sunday, where she delivered the commencement address at Brown University.
Pelosi’s arrest was first reported by TMZ.
Paul and Nancy Pelosi have been married since 1963.

WITH A WIFE LIKE THAT, CAN YOU BLAME HIM FOR TAKING TO DRINK?
I hope this doesn’t distract nancy from cleaning up the slums of her own backyard of San Fracisco
Being married to Nancy can be the cause for anyone to drink.
Can’t blame the guy!
I would also drink if I was married to that machasheifa!
It is none of anyone’s business if crazy Nancy’s husband got arrested. This article is disgraceful.
Please $5000 for someone who’s worth $114 million!? He figured that while he gets a reprieve from his meshuga wife he can party. They should make tougher DUI laws.
If Pelosi were my wife, I’d be a drunk too!
The week before the House Judiciary Committee voted on reigning in big tech, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband exercised a bullish bet on Google-parent Alphabet, in a timely transaction that netted him $5.3 million.
In Pelosi’s case, the call options he’d previously bought for Alphabet (which were due to expire the day of his purchase) allowed him to buy it at $1,200 a share while the shares closed that day just over $2,500, a difference that accounted for his profit.
Nancy Pelosi’s spokesperson said “The speaker has no involvement or prior knowledge of these transactions,” in an emailed statement on Wednesday, adding that Speaker Pelosi doesn’t own any stock.
It is illegal for Congress members to trade based on non-public information gathered during their official duties, but it is hard to charge members of Congress with insider trading.
So there you have it. The privileged white elitist pigs that own Washington, are above the law. Do as I say not as I do. If you or me would do the exact same thing the Pelosi’s are doing, we’d be behind bars. The corruption in Washington stinks. Paul Pelosi’s drunk driving is the least of his indiscretions. And we are supposed to look up to and be obedient (masks, vaccines, lockdowns, CRT, etc…) to these lowlife gangster thugs?! Who works for who?
