Eretz Yisroel – Family and friends are calling it a “medical miracle” that Shmuel Ibji, who was gravely injured in a vehicular accident 2.5 weeks ago [reported HERE on YWN], has opened his eyes and is interfacing with his environment.
Shmuel [Moshe ben Esther Yafa] is not out of the woods yet, but when he opened his eyes on Tuesday the doctors were astounded, considering the extent of his injuries.
Hatzolah members around the county have been reciting tehillim for his recovery and a special tefilla was held by hundreds of volunteers around the country after word spread of the accident and the extent of his injuries. Nevertheless Ladaat reports he opened his eyes on Tuesday night to the amazement of his family and the medical caretakers.
A day before the accident, Shmuel was instrumental in saving an 80-year-old woman, taking part in resuscitation efforts.

THIS IS AN AMAZING STORY. B”H THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN SOME IMPROVEMENT.
THERE IS A VERI BIG LEESON TO LEARN FROM THIS STORY.
THE KOACH OF TEFILAH!!
WITH SUCH GRAVE INJURIES MANY PEOPLE ALMOST GAVE UP HOPE FOR HIS RECOVERY.
THEN ALONG CAME HIS CHAVEIRIM, THE HATZOLOH MEMBERS AND OTHERS, WITH A MAJOR ‘TEFILAH CAMPAIN’, REAL TEFILAH, WITH ALL THIER HEART. NOW WE HEAR THAT B”H THERE IS A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN HIS CONDITION.
IF EVERY TIME WE HEAR, CHALILAH, OF A CHOLEH WITH THE BAD MACHLAH R”L WE WOULD ALL GET TOGETHER AND REALLY DAVVEN MAMASH FOR REAL, FROM THE HEART, WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OF THOSE CHOLIM WOULD GET BETTER AND HAVE A REFUAH SHELEIMAH.
HALEVAI!!
Boruch Hashem!
