More drivers in Brooklyn will not have to worry about alternate side of the street parking rules for the next few weeks.
Starting Monday, street cleaning rules in parts of Gowanus, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill will be temporarily suspended while 2100 street signs with new parking rules are put in place.
For the past few weeks, signs have been replaced in Park Slope.

They should do the same in boro park and flatbush. There are plenty of signs that are either bent, spray painted on, or even missing. Which can cause accidents chas v’shalom. People should let the cityknow about any street sign that they see is damaged or missing. You can and will save many lives i’h.
They should get rid of alternate side in the entire city. Its archaic and very few cities have this money-grubbing (which is all it is) baloney. The streets are no cleaner after their overpaid unionized workers “sweep” it.
Nothing like adding more confusing signs to the mix!
