7:50PM EST: Boro Park Shomrim units have successfully apprehended a person for breaking into numerous cars in the heart of Boro Park, YWN has learned.

Shomrim units followed the man for blocks after they had received many reports of car-break-ins. As soon as Shomrim had the suspect properly identified by eye-witnesses, he was apprehended on 18th Avenue and 53rd Street.

In his possession were GPS systems, Ipods, XM Radios, cash and other items he stole from the vehicles. As of this posting, he is being led away in handcuffs.

Shomrim remind everyone: Never leave any valuables visible in your vehicle – since your car will be high-priority for a thief.
