Chicago police said 86 people were shot, 13, fatally, across the city over the weekend, more than half during a 10-hour span that saw a police officer killed and three mass shootings that wounded 16 people.
The mass shootings occurred about an hour apart in Gresham on the South Side early Sunday, not long after two Chicago police officers were shot during a traffic stop in West Englewood.
One of the officers, Ella French, 29, died in the shooting, which occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at 63rd Street and Bell Avenue. Her partner remained in critical condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
There were 51 shot, eight fatally, last weekend.

This is entirely & solely the fault of sleepy joe. This is what happens when you steal an election. He has to resign, and be replaced by President Donald Trump.
The elected leaders of the city have decided to focus on keeping police from shooting civilians, and if that results in more people getting killed by non-police, so be it. If the people who live in Chicago are displeased by this result they can move to a jurisdiction with anti-crime policies, or vote the Democrats out of office.
“What I can tell you is that, within the domestic terrorism bucket category as a whole, racially-motivated violent extremism is, I think, the biggest bucket within that larger group, and within the racially-motivated violent extremists bucket, people subscribing to some kind of white supremacist-type ideology is certainly the biggest chunk of that,” Wray said.
“So the white supremacists are the largest chunk of the racially-motivated domestic terrorists?” Slotkin asked.
Wray replied “yes” part way through her asking the question.
So there you have it. If Biden & Emhoff can crack down in a serious way, on all white heterosexual males, then maybe just maybe, blacks Will stop being slaughtered like worthless sheep on the streets of Chicago. Beto O’Rourke was right. Our government must strip all legal registered guns from law-abiding privileged WHITE males. I blame Biden/Emhoff for not taking this seriously and by his continuation of systemic racism, blacks are losing their lives.

I believe that these shootings will be resolved if the Chicago mayor goes ahead with defunding the police and replaces all the officers in the police force with social workers and also providing more money for social programs. This was the “progressives” plan and they need to implement it ASAP. Black lives matter.
