A Jewish man was threatened by a man hurling anti-Semitic slurs on an East Flatbush Street this week, the NYPD says.
The incident happened in front of the Darchei Menachem Yeshiva located at 432 Rutland Road in East Flatbush on Thursday morning.
Police said the 30-year-old victim was outside the Yeshiva when a man came up and made threats and anti-Semitic statements to him around 10:15AM.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect was last seen walking along Rutland Road towards Brooklyn Avenue, police said.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.

Things like this are to get worse.
We need training badly. This should include Situational Awareness and mental preparedness, and is most important. Self defense skills come next.
Try to always walk with a partner, the chances of being attacked are much less that way.
20 years ago or more the the city college in harlem came up with a safety program called “take 5”, i.e. wait for 4 more people before walking to train station or a bus stop, eventhough few used it since it’s hard to wait for 4 strangers, needless to say, the mugging situation around the campus was horrendous. A partner, or a “battle buddy” in the military, is much more practical.
Just ignore him, he is drunk!
