President Bush, nearing the end of his second term, reportedly has enlisted British special forces to help the U.S. in a final push to hunt down Osama bin Laden, according to the Sunday Times of London.
The newspaper cites unnamed “defense and intelligence sources in Washington and London” who “confirmed that a renewed hunt was on for the leader of the September 11 attacks.”
“If he can say he has killed Saddam Hussein and captured bin Laden, he can claim to have left the world a safer place,” a senior American intelligence source reportedly told the newspaper.
White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said Sunday that the U.S. has been looking for bin Laden since Sept. 11 and “has not let up.”
Bush will make his final stop Sunday in Britain — his last on an eight-day European tour. He is scheduled to have dinner with Prime Minister Gordon Brown, before holding private meetings with Brown at his residence. He will also have tea with the queen.
Meanwhile, Bush reportedly will ask Brown not to announce a timetable for British troop pullout from Iraq. Bush, in an interview with The Observer newspaper, reportedly already has had “discussion” with Brown on the status of British forces, and that Brown was in touch with U.S. officials about “what he and his military are thinking.”
Bush reportedly told the newspaper that on the matter of setting a timetable, “Our answer is: there should be no definitive timetable.”

Why has he waited so long before asking for assistance from his allies? Sounds strange to me!! Anyway we all wish him lots of hatzlacha.
is the picture upside down on purpose?
I think it is appropriate to say: It’s about time.

The Yeshiva Insider
you need to wonder, does bin-laden really matter anymore? achmadi-nutjob and friends aren’t running low on anti-semites…plus how much influence does he really have? we havent heard anything serious from al quaida in a long time..i think bush just wants to capture him because he thinks people will look at him as a failure if he didnt accomplish what he said he’d do 7 years ago.
YWN why is the picture up side down?
Would you want such a rasha’s picture to be right side up?
Simply because there’s an inyun not to look at a rasha straight in the face…
picture’s upside down cuz this is the position they’re going to hang him…
good one Willi
