(ORIGINALLY POSTED JUNE 13) UPDATE BELOW: A 9-month-old infant was victim of a near-drowning in a bathtub on Chasmonaim Street in Yerushalayim’s Mekor Baruch neighborhood on Friday afternoon. Hatzolah responded and began resuscitation. The infant was transported by paramedics to Bikur Cholim Hospital in critical condition. Hatzolah EMT Yossi Shmueli reports finding the infant on the bed, without a pulse. He began CPR and fortunately, the child’s spontaneous pulse did eventually return. Ladaat reports that the infant is a great-grandson of the Admor M’Slonim ZT”L, the ‘Nesivos Sholom’.
