In this article, we want to answer two of the most frequently asked questions by Delta 8 THC vapers.
Firstly, we will answer the question of what the best Delta 8 THC vape cartridges are. And then secondly, we’ll answer the question of what dosage of Delta 8 is needed to reach maximum effects.
The best Delta 8 THC carts
The world of Delta 8 vaping has seen a lot of boom recently. But quite, unfortunately, that boom has also opened the door for unscrupulous companies to enter the industry with low-quality products.
The results?
Many have died, and several others have fallen ill as a result of using bad batches of Delta 8 THC carts.
To ensure you don’t join the growing toll, we suggest you buy your Delta 8 carts from any of these vendors.
-
Area52
-
Finest Labs
-
Diamond CBD
-
Boston Empire
#1 Area52
All Delta 8 THC carts produced by Area52 are lab tested to be fit for consumption. In case any consumer has doubts about the safety and integrity of the products, Area52 has called upon such a consumer to request the COA (Certificate of Analysis) for the product batch. This will show the consumer all they need to see regarding the authenticity and safety of Area52’s products.
In terms of dosage, Area52 packs its Delta 8 vape carts with 900 mg of D8 in ½ ml vape.
#2 Finest Labs
Like Area52, Finest Labs is also a reputable Delta 8 cart provider. The company sends all its D8 cart batches to a third-party laboratory for testing before rolling them out for sale. Up until now, there’s been no report of death or illness from any user of Finest Labs’ D8 carts.
In terms of dosage, the company favors a slightly lesser D8 strength of 500 mg in 1 ml vape as compared with Area52.
#3 Diamond CBD
Diamond CBD is renowned for delivering a wide variety of high-quality vape carts. The company has tons of vape cart flavors in its line, giving users so many options to choose from. Like the rest, Diamond CBD also relies on third-party testing for all its Delta 8 products. So, safety and quality are guaranteed.
Similar to Area52, each of Diamond CBD’s D8 cart carries 900 mg of delta 8 THC in 1 ml vape.
#4 Boston Empire
Boston Empire’s products line are tested and certified by Desert Valley Testing in Phoenix, Arizona. The company prides itself on delivering Delta 8 carts that get you higher than high.
Right now, they’re one of the few brands with a wide variety of Delta 8 cart strength including carts with 920 mg, 92.04% concentrated Delta 8 THC, and 95% concentrated Delta 8 THC.
Now that you know where to buy your Delta 8 carts from, let’s talk about how to determine the amount of D8 THC you need per dose.
Delta 8 THC Dosage Guide Chart
Let’s say a cartridge contains 900 mg of D8 in 1 ml vape, how much should you draw out per dose?
In all honestly, there’s no straight answer to the question – the reason being that different users inhale differently and different users have different tolerance limits.
Tolerance limits refer to the maximum amount of Delta 8 your body can take within a specified period.
However, based on multiple research and observations, we’ve come to discover average tolerance limits for various individuals.
-
Beginner Delta 8 THC dosing (low tolerance): 5mg-15mg per use
-
Intermediate Delta 8 THC dosing (medium tolerance): 15mg-45mg per use
-
Advanced Delta 8 THC dosing (high tolerance): 45mg-150mg+ per use
Note: Beginner refers to someone who’s just starting to vape Delta 8. Intermediate is someone who has been vaping D8 for months. And advanced is someone who’s been doing it for years.
Problem Alert!!!
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to quantify the amount to vape in milligrams. If it were oil, edibles, or capsules, one can easily quantify those in milligrams.
But we can’t for vaping. So, what do we do? How do you know the amount of D8 to vape in milligrams? Let’s find out.
Delta 8 THC Dosage for vaping: How to quantify your puffs
According to various E-juice papers, a one-milliliter bottle of e-juice will roughly contain around 100 hits. Meaning that your 1 ml Delta 8 cart approximately contains 100 puffs.
Knowing that divide the number of milligrams of delta 8 in the total vape product by the number of milliliters in the cartridge, and then divide that number by 100. That tells you how many puffs to take to vape the desired amount.
A quick case study:
Let’s say you get an Area52 vape cart, which is known to contain 900 mg of D8 in 1 ml vape. By the above correlations, that would translate to:
Since 1 ml e-juice equals 100 puffs, that would mean 900 mg of D8 is available to be vaped in 100 puffs. If you break that further down, that would give 9 mg of D8 in one puff.
Mathematically:
If 900 mg = 100 puffs; then
9 mg = 1 puff
Per the dosage chart above, this means that a newbie taking Area52 should only take between one and two puffs per dose. This should give them their desired effects. If not, then that would mean their tolerance limit is higher, and they can increase the dosage further.
How long before you feel the effects of Delta 8?
Delta 8 kicks in within 10-20 minutes if vaped.
After taking the first puff (which might be worth 9 mg in weight if Area52), it may be tempting to take the second puff immediately, and then another shortly after. But we recommend waiting for about twenty minutes after your last hit before taking any additional hits to see exactly how the last hit has hit you.
Remember, it’s better to wait than to be sorry!
