TO the Editors: You always praise Hashem when no one is hurt or sifrei Torah are saved but you never praise Hashem for giving us fire and the know-how to master this awesome part of ma’asei Beresheet.
What a disaster! This is a very special shul. the people who run the shul are tzadikim and true askanim. The chesed they do every day is amazing. ImyH , shul should be rebuilt very soon.
there has been to much ” shul competition” in far rockaway and they have been inundated with shuls in the last 10 years everyone needs to create his own place where he could be the it , it is starting to lose its taam, in Vienna everyone davened together in the same shul, thats the way it should be it is ,much nicer then davening in someone’s basement or small room adjacent to his house listening to some uninspiring davening, even a nice davening with an chashuve rav would be better off joining and everyone davening together for that I never want to live there, however this shul was never part of the “rat race ” in far rockaway it was always just a good upstanding shul with ehrliche people nothing fancy or pretentious sad to see ,
