Brooklyn, NY- Councilman Simcha Felder is pleased to announce that the Department of Transportation has listened to the concerns of the community and is installing a traffic light at the intersection on 16th Avenue and 55th Street in his district. Work is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2008.
“I’m thrilled that the Department of Transportation has recognized the need to address safety issues at this intersection,” Felder said. “I want to thank Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan and Mayor Bloomberg for their responsiveness in addressing this community concern.”
