It happened just before midnight, when FDNY Engine 254 was responding to reports of a structural fire on Bay Parkway when it struck a vehicle, according to authorities.
The apparatus then struck a closed commercial building on Avenue U and East 4th Street, police told YWN.

It is illegal to slam a firetruck into a storefront, hence the driver is going to have to pay in full for the damages s/he caused, and go to prison for having caused such unforetold mayhem & misery to totally innocent storefront owner. This is an extremely serious crime.
Watch out for fire fighters in general they are
Rude abusive and hateful
