A Jewish man was assaulted in Monsey Glatt on Thursday afternoon.
Sources tell YWN that a delivery truck was unloading at the store, when a Hispanic male told the driver he needs to move so he can get out. The victim told him that his lift in the middle of unloading the truck, and it will take a minute or two and he will move. The suspect refused to wait, and began punching the victim in the head.
A crowd quickly gathered, and the suspect attempted to get away. Thanks to the fast response by Rockland Chaveirirm and the Ramapo Police, the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody.
Rockland Hatzolah was called to treat the victim who suffered a concussion and required multiple stitches for some serious facial trauma.

Kudos to the officers that came quickly even on their holiday to make the arrest
Look how nicely the cops in America arrest people. Not like the Nazis in Eretz Kodsheinu!
There is nothing deBlasio can do to get this perp released, but no-doubt Cuomo shall also see to it that this perp is released immediately, especially as he is seething after his huge loss in Supreme Court last nite.
They cops have to be careful not to get their knees in the way of the suspects neck.
I don’t want to blame the victim. And I don’t know all the details. But generally if someone asks you to move your truck. Move it ASAP. I take this story personally. I live near a large supermarket and a busy houseware store. Almost every day I’m blocked in. Most drivers are nice but every once in a while I have someone giving me a hard time and he’s blocking me and is double parked. No I don’t have a minute when I have to get to work or my shiur.
Last Sunday a truck was blocking me in. I went over to the guy and politely ask him to move. Then with chutzpa he starts yelling at me that I shouldn’t be parked there. I pointed out that Sunday you are allowed to park there and even Monday – Friday the no parking time starts an hour later – at 8 am, but don’t confuse me with the facts.
A selfish driver caused road-rage (equivalent)!

Ah yid, I hear you. I take it you’re not familiar with Monsey Glatt, or you’d understand the situation.
I don’t want to blame the victim, either. But the fact is that Monsey Glatt really needs a bigger parking lot. When a truck needs to unload, there is really nowhere for them to go where they won’t be blocking anyone. It’s not that the truck driver was being careless – he simply had no choice!
That the blocked driver was upset is understandable. I would be upset, too. But physically attacking someone is still wrong.
