According to the Associated Press, Hillary Clinton has told congressional colleagues on a conference call Tuesday, that she would be open to becoming Barack Obama’s vice presidential nominee – if it would help Democrats win the White House.
Her comments were a response to a question from Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez who said she believed the best way for Obama to win over key voting blocs, including Hispanics, would be for him to choose Clinton as his running mate.
“I am open to it,” Clinton replied, if it would help the party’s prospects in November.

illini07, why would the FBI be watching? It’s not illegal to speculate about the possibility of an assassination, or even to wish for one. There have been plenty of people over the past 8 years openly calling for someone to kill Bush, but nothing has happened to them, because in a free country that’s allowed. Only making actual PLAUSIBLE threats is illegal.
