U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Tuesday the world should have every confidence that a post-election transition in the United States will be smooth.
“There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration,” Pompeo told a State Department news conference.
“We’re going to count all the votes… The world should have every confidence that the transition necessary to make sure that the State Department is… successful today and successful when the president who’s in office on January 20, a minute afternoon, will also be successful.”

AMEN.
Is he trying to calm world leaders or is he a comedian?
and the race for 2024 continues…
Trump’s people really ARE trying to steal the election. 1876 all over again.
Emes: Its all part of an effort of those around Trump to give him time to accept the reality of his loss and avoid having someone known for his impulsive flailing around to do something really stupid. A week or two from now, reality will settle in. In the interim, Biden has already begun talking directly to key world leaders (including Netanyahu) and working through long-standing contacts his transition team have with career government personnel working “outside” official channels. Biden obviously knows D.C. and doesn’t need “orientation” for now but it will become more significant by early December.
Trump doesnt need to move out since Biden can just move into the basement of the white house.
Is this the NY Times or YWN?
What part of the following is unclear: “President Trump has not lost the election unless the necessary States certify their numbers that way and a sufficient number of electors go for Mr. Biden”?
Pompeo’s transition from secretary of state to civilian will go much smoother.
