Mayor Mike Bloomberg, along with NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, will be paying a visit to the Crown Heights community.
The mayor will be attending the 71st Precinct’s annual community parade and picnic. The event begins at 11:30AM with a parade down Empire Blvd., followed by a community picnic at Hamilton Metz Park – located at Albany and East New York Avenues.
Free Kosher hot-dogs (Rubashkin), childrens rides and other entertainment will be on hand.

why are you so harsh, he was probably just waiting for the right time to pay his condolence call, and was in luck.

no, I mean it. he was waiting for the right time to show his support for the community after the attack on the bochur, r”l, and was lucky to have an event where he could do it.

I don’t think you understood what I meant in #1. I’m refering to the fact that there have been so many incidents before this one and the situation was already spiraling out of control.
