The University of Notre Dame has become the second university to withdraw as the host of one of this fall’s three scheduled presidential debates amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The university was set to host the inaugural face-off between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden on Sept. 29. The first debate will now be hosted by Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates announced Monday.

The commission has selected Cleveland Clinic as its health adviser for all three presidential debates and the one scheduled vice presidential debate.
In a release, Notre Dame President the Rev. John Jenkins said the university made “this difficult decision because the necessary health precautions would have greatly diminished the educational value of hosting the debate on our campus.”
The University of Michigan was scheduled to host the second presidential debate but withdrew last month. That debate will now be held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.

It ha nothing to do with Wuhan-19. It is an attempt to protect senile demented plagiarist Biden from public ensnarement.
How unfair to call Biden senile and demented just because he was driving the wrong way on a one way street! Technically speaking, he was actually driving on the sidewalk when the “innocent” pedestrians were plowed over. Anyway, they were rodefs who were spreading the virus by not wearing masks. And how can you blame him when he couldn’t see them because he was wearing his mask over his eyes?!
And what if Biden is senile and demented? Is it fair to discriminate against the senile and demented community? Doesn’t the senile and demented community deserve representation in the highest echelons of government?
If we can have a black President, why can’t we have a senile and demented President? In Biden’s own words:
” Any person who is a citizen of the United States and is 35 can become
President. Obama had trouble with the citizen part, but was nevertheless
elected. I am a U.S. citizen but I am not 35. Shouldn’t I also be elected?”
Can slo Joe lose a debate he isn’t in?
