The Republican National Committee (RNC) in New Jersey has released a statement condemning anti-Semitic statements by officials in Jackson, New Jersey.
The statement is pointed at all jackson official, but fails to call out Republican Mayor Michael Reina by name, after YWN published a shocking audio clip on Monday capturing his vile anti-Semitic remarks.
The statement was released by (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, New Jersey GOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt and New Jersey State Senator Robert Singer on Tuesday afternoon in response to anti-Semitic statements by officials in Jackson, New Jersey:
“We condemn hateful rhetoric in the strongest possible terms. There is no place for anti-Semitism in our party.”
Jackson Mayor Michael Reina recently admitted that he’s intentionally discriminating against the rapidly growing Orthodox Jewish community in his township, according to an audio obtained by YWN.
During a meeting earlier this year, former Ocean County GOP chairman George Gilmore is overheard in the audio asking the 3-term Republican mayor if he’d be fighting churches the same way he’s fighting shuls and Jewish institutions. “If these were churches would we be fighting them?” Gilmore asked.
“Absolutely not,” was Reina’s response.

Statements are worthless if backed up by action. This mayor should be expelled from the GOP and not permitted to be on a ballot as a Republican candidate.
correction “if NOT backed up by action”
