YWN regrets to inform you of the tragic Petira of Daniel Jerushalmi Z”L, who was critically injured in a car accident last Thursday. He was 43.

As YWN had reported, the crash happened near the intersection of Northeast 163rd Street and Biscayne Boulevard, in North Miami Beach. At least 6 vehicles were involved in the wreck. Nine people were injured, with Daniel’s injuries the most serious.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was in a coma and remained in critical condition as Jews around the world prayed for his recovery. The name “Chaim” had been added to his name. Unfortunately, he was Niftar on Monday afternoon.

Chesed Shel Emes of Florida is in the hospital and working with local authorities – including the Medical Examiner, Police, and Hospital officials –  to ensure a timely Levaya and provide Kavod Hames.

He leaves behind a wife and three children.

The Levaya will be held on Tuesday, 12:00PM, at Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center
