Crown Heights was not the only location of hate against Jews this Shabbos. Boro Park got their share as well.
A vehicle drove past two Jewish men on 19th Avenue and 53rd Street on Friday night, and threw eggs at the men. No words were exchanged in the incident, and the vehicle fled the area.
The NYPD was notified, and the Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating. Boro Park Shomrim was working with the NYPD to secure security camera footage in the area.
YWN notes that there is an incredible NYD presence in the Orthodox Jewish communities for Yom Kippur through Sukkos. Boro Park alone has nearly two dozen extra officers patrolling the streets.
