Maran Elyashiv Released from Hospital


YW-BC-5768-7.JPGMaran HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita on Tuesday evening was Boruch Hashem released from Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Rav Elyashiv was admitted last week complaining of weakness and shortness of breath. He underwent surgery for the removal of his gallbladder and doctors on Tuesday expressed satisfaction with the Torah sage’s recuperation, approving his discharge.

    Whatever we were Mekabel on ourseleves while Maran Shlita was in the hospital, let’s keep it up. If it worked to get him out, then hopefully it should work to keep him in Gezunt Ad Bias Goiel Tzedek.

  2. Baruch Hashem! But I do have to say, I find it extremely hard to believe that the gadol hador was “complaining” of weakness and shortness of breath. We really have to be careful how we speak, especially about a person who is holding every single tzara of Klal Yisrael on his shoulders. And if he doesnt complain about that, well than im positive hes not complaining about this. Because this to him, is not even a pinch.
