A garage behind a home went up in flames, Wednesday afternoon.

The FDNY says they received reports of the fire at around 1857 50th Street near 18th Avenue just after 2:00PM.

The fire was contained to a garage, and did not spread to a Shul which was directly behind it.

There were no injuries reported, and the fire was brought under control.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
