Lakewood Zoning Board Approves Commercial Development

SDlogo.gifLakewood’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has given partial approval for a mixed-use development on Route 88, today’s Asbury Park Press reports.

The project calls for 72 row houses, a community center and 30,000 square feet of commercial space. The board approved variances to allow the commercial development at the site just west of New Hampshire Avenue. The applicant, Somerset Development, still needs approval for density variances, which will be considered when the board takes up the site plan for the project.
