Hater Shoves Jewish Baby Carriage Calls Family “Dirty Jews” WHILE WEARING JEWISH BAG

It was a shocking incident of anti-Semitism that was captured on video.

Both the assailant and the victim had beards. One was visibly a Jew, the other was visibly an anti-Semite. The anti-Semite was wearing an all-orange outfit – a Nike T-shirt and tight orange sweatpants. He approached the Jewish man and his family, including two children and an infant and shoved the baby carriage in which the infant was laying. When asked why he did so, the anti-Semite yelled out, “You’re a dirty Jew!” When asked to repeat what he just had said, the man did so and then tried knocking down the phone of one of the Jewish men.

The incident happened this past Sunday outside of the Car Phone Warehouse on St. Peter’s Street in St. Albans in England. The Jewish family was sitting at the outside tables of the Costa Coffee Shop, bordering the Pret eatery.

Police were eventually called and are investigating. The assailant was described as “being in his early twenties, sporting a short-trimmed hair-cut, and wearing an expensive Morn Creations Shark bag around his neck.” He also carried a gold-colored iPhone, was wearing sun-glasses in his hair and wore a metallic watch and a leather band on his other wrist. He also had a gold band on his right ring finger.

Meanwhile, a person submitted a comment on the YWN Instagram Account, which pointed out something interesting: “Too bad he’s wearing a fanny pack by @Sprayground that’s designed and owned by a fellow Jewish bro, @davidbendavid. Jokes on that sucka with the bad haircut!”

Michael, one of the victims who filmed the hate incident, did not wish to give his last name.

Present were “Michael”, his sibling and in-law, and three children. The family was wearing Yarmulkahs.

The UK has been experiencing a significant rise in anti-Semitic incidences of late, and this is paradigmatic of what some visibly orthodox Jews experience.

  1. According to the article, there were 3 jewish adults and 1 guy throwing stuff at them and pushing their baby carriage. Why did they not respond or did the video not capture their response?

  2. I was in St. Albans a few months ago, it’s a very pretty and historic town. We saw another frum family we have known for decades (men wearing yarmulkehs, father is “Michael” and I’ll bet they are the same people.) They told us they visit often. When we were there everything was fine, but wherever I go in the UK I am always conscious and wary of a prevalent undercurrent of hate and antisemitism, fueled by Jeremy Corbyn and his familiars. Like in the US, the UK government has created the perfect environment for these attacks (no I do not mean Trump, it got really bad under Obama.) As long as those running a country pay lip service to antisemitism but don’t actually work to stop it, hate attacks will increase. These thugs are emboldened.

Gedolhadorah, when you’re attacked without provocation you freeze in shock. Maybe ex IDF can respond immediately but ordinary people don’t have the kick-in instinct and training. Hindsight is 20/20.

  3. Three men and not one defended them
Now you know why these cowards pick on frum yidden time to learn self defense to protect your children

  4. > Gadolhadorah

And shortly after the internet would be flooded by edited videos showing the Jews as aggressors. For all they knew, this was simply a setup. And it may well have been, except that it did not work.

  5. HML: This wasn’t a “sudden” attack where the attacker runs off. It goes on for about 30-40 seconds and words are exchanged. You don’t have to be “ex-IDF” to respond to one guy armed with an iPhone. As Neville and Kollel Faker observed, yidden need to fight back to these attacks or they will become “victims” more frequently.
