YWN regrets to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Maita Rosenblum A”H (husband of Rav Moshe), the daughter of HaRav Shraga Moshe Kalmanowitz Zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva in the Mirrer Yeshiva.

The Levaya will take place today(Sunday) 9:30AM at the 7th Street Chapel in Lakewood and then at the Mirrer Yeshiva Mesivta Bais Medrash at 12:30PM. The Kevurah will be in Eretz Yisroel.

Mrs Rosenblum was the bread and butter of the Mir Cheder, as she ran the Cheder for close to 30 years Bimisiras Nefesh – both physically and financially – making sure every single Talmid has what he needs to be able to shteig.

Her warm smile will be missed by thousands of Talmidim that knew no matter what for any type of issue they had, they were able to ask her and it would be taken care of.
