TWITTER ALLOWS “DEATH TO JEWS” CALL: Verified Account With 816,000 Followers Tweets Death Call

Perhaps someone from Twitter can explain to us, how a tweet openly calling for the death of Jews took more than 14 hours to be removed?

And not only that, but a “verified” Twitter account, with more than 816,000 followers.

A tweet by user @Heshoz at 1:50AM on July 1, 2019 read “Now lets kill some jews”. The tweet was still up at 3:50PM ET, despite many requests to have it removed. At around 4:00PM ET, it was finally deleted, and the account suspended.

Why it took Twitter nearly one day to have this removed is shocking.

Meanwhile, Twitter freely bans Conservative Twitter accounts, and anyone whose political views they don’t agree with.

  1. I don’t understand why anyone is still shocked or surprised when these things happen. Leftism is the core value of tech companies like Twitter, Facebook and Google. Leftism is pro-“Palestinian”, pro-sexual-immorality, pro-socialism, anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-conservative, anti-borders, anti- Capitalist, anti-family, etc.. This murderous expression is perfectly in line with the Leftist belief system. You can bet whatever you want if the account said “Now let’s kill some illegals” or “Now let’s kill some homosexuals” it would be deleted and banned in a heartbeat. No offense, but anyone to whom this isn’t obvious yet is either in denial or deaf and blind.

  2. I’m no fan of social media, and its demise would not sadden me in any way. But my observation is that so many frum Yidden use it. Inasmuch as these media are terrible when it comes to allowing and even promoting hate, negative influences, and using the oilem goilem approach to shaping national behavior, I believe that it would be wise to curtail it. No, I’m not the proponent of banning things, involving rabbonim, making things ossur, etc. I favor a boycott. I know it will not damage anyone there, but it would assist in maintaining the position that these are promoters of negativity. I would like to see the courts brought into the matter of charging someone with inciting violence.
