Rabbi Yaakov Perlow, the Novominsker Rebbe and Rosh Agudas Yisroel will open the keynote luncheon session at an upcoming Conference for Maggidei Shiur, sponsored by the Daf Yomi Commission of Agudath Israel of America.  Rabbi Noach Isaac Oelbaum, rav, Congregation Nachlas Yitzchok (Queens), will deliver an address at the luncheon session.

A “Sugyos in Daf Yomi” shiur will be given by Rabbi Uren Reich, Rosh HaYeshiva, Woodlake Village (Lakewood), at the opening session.
 
The conference will also feature a fascinating roundtable discussion on the topic, “Issues in Daf Yomi Teaching Methodology.”

“If past maggidei shiur conferences are any indication, this event, the third of its kind, will offer participants a unique opportunity to learn from one another’s experiences, hone their skills and fine-tune their delivery of a shiur,” observes Daf Yomi Commission coordinator Rabbi Eliyahu Simcha Bamberger. He notes that, due to a substantial growth in the number of Daf Yomi groups over the last few years – and a concomitant increase in the number of maggidei shiur — a record turnout is expected at the upcoming event.
