An elderly woman was robbed in the heart of Flatbush, and the NYPD is asking the public for assistance in apprehending the suspect.
The New York City Police Department tells YWN that on Monday at 12:47PM, an 88-year-old female victim was walking in front of 1116 East 21st Street, between Avenue I and Avenue J, when an unidentified male pushed her to the ground and removed a necklace before fleeing in unknown direction.
EMS responded and transported the victim to New York Community Hospital for minor pain and bruising.
The attached video was captured prior to incident.
