YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Yehuda Eber Rosenberg Z”TL, a man who devoted his entire life to Tzedakah and Chesed.
Many people will recognize the face of the Niftar, as he was a fixture at Levayos and Chasunos, where he collected millions of dollars over the past 50 years for various Aniyim, as well as the Vishnitzer Mosdos.
Among his children is the well-known Baal Chesed, Reb Mendy Rosenberg, the founder of Chesed Shel Emes.
His other sons include R Nochum, R’ Sholom, R’ Yitzchok, R’ Yechiel Alter, HaRav Yisroel, R’ Yaakov Yosef, and three daughters.
The Levaya will be held at 2:00PM in front of the Vishnitzer Bais Medrash in Williamsburg, located at 6 Lee Avenue. The Levaya will continue in Monsey at the Viznitz shul on Phyllis Terrace at 3:30PM, and will continue from there to the Vishnitz Bais Hakvaros on Route 306.

What was the length of his years?
I remember picking him up many times for hitches. he was always shuffling from one wedding hall to another.
I asked him once how do u have koach to shlep around so late at night from one place to the other, his answer always was that doing chesed for others gives him Koach .
May all the Tzedukes and chesed he did be his Beglyter till Kisa Hakuved and all those Almunes,Yesoymim and mosdos who benefited from his collections be a mylitz yosher.
My condolences to the Rosenberg family .
TC: He was in his 90s and he has been going around until a few months ago.
