Police say a child is dead after being found in a burning car in New York City, and a man is in custody.
Authorities were called around 9 p.m. Sunday to a car fire at the intersection of Baisley and Rockaway boulevards. It’s in the Springfield Gardens section of Queens.
Police say a girl was found in the car in critical condition. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Her age and name haven’t yet been released.
Officers also found a man nearby with injuries from burns. He’s been taken into custody. No charges have been filed thus far.
No further details are immediately available.

Thousands of yidden including (myself) pass thru Springfield Gardens everyday to and from work. Many yidden work there in warehouses and offices. Thousands of yidden live 10 minutes away from there (5 towns). The article would interested them maybe to watch out and be safe while passing by or going to work or to just know what is happening in their backyard……
