A search is underway for a Jewish man who left a Toronto-area hospital on Thursday (Purim) afternoon and did not return home.
York police have set up a command post at 200 McNaughton Rd in Vaughan to look for 24-year-old Simi Abrams. He was last seen on video entering/exiting a store in that area on March 21, shortly after 2:30PM.
Abrams left on foot from Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital at 12:30 PM on March 21 and has not been in touch with family since.
Police say he does not have access to a vehicle.

“If anyone spots him, please call us right away,” he urged.
The attached photo, obtained from video surveillance, shows the clothing that Abrams was last wearing.
