Agudath Israel continues to work towards a resolution of the NY Substantial Equivalency issue.
Below is an email sent by Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, Agudah’s Executive Vice President, to all New York Yeshivos.
In it, Rabbi Zwiebel details the lawsuit filed by Agudath Israel this past week, along with Torah Umesorah and PEARLS, and a number of other stakeholders.
You can read the entire lawsuit here. This lawsuit follows a similar lawsuit filed last week by NYSAIS, challenging the validity of the Substantial Equivalency Guidelines.
