President Barack Obama lists assets worth between $1.85 million and $6.88 million, of which $1 million to $5 million were in intermediate-term Treasury notes, according to federal financial disclosure forms released on Wednesday.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, in April reported adjusted gross income of $608,611 last year, down from the previous year as income from his best-selling books declined.

As president, he is entitled to a $400,000 annual salary.

The president reported a mortgage of between $500,000 and $1 million on a residence in Illinois. He has retirement plans from the Illinois General Assembly and the University of Chicago.

Vice President Joe Biden listed assets of between $439,031 and $1.07 million, disclosures showed. Biden also lists liabilities of between $755,000 and $1.67 million, including a mortgage of between $500,000 and $1 million.
