The home belonging to Rav Gershon Ribbner Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Nesivos Hatorah in Staten Island, suffered extensive fire damage as Shabbos came to a close. Lakewood Hatzolah received numerous calls at approximately 6:00PM for a home on fire at 645 7th Street – on the block of BMG. Upon their arrival, they found that the entire family had Boruch Hashem made it out safely.

The Lakewood FD battled the blaze for close to one hour before bringing it under control, and the Ocean County Fire Marshals is currently on the scene investigating the cause of the blaze.
