Authorities say a thief who cleaned out practically all of the merchandise in a jewelry store grabbed the haul after coming in through the ceiling.
WABC-TV reports police are still looking for the suspect in the Wednesday heist.
Police say the thief came into Shlomi Jewelry in Queens though the ceiling, and then cut all the wires to the surveillance equipment.
The store owner says almost all of the inventory was taken, and put the loss at more than $1 million.
