The Spring valley Fire Department was battling a blaze at 22 Lawrence Street on Thursday afternoon. The fire department was called at around 1:30PM reporting the fire. They arrived to find heavy smoke and flames blowing out of the windows and roof.

Sources on scene confirm to YWN that the building is a 2 and a half story story vacant structure.

There are no injuries reported, as multiple fire departments from neighboring towns have responded to assist – including from Tallman, West Nyack and others.
