Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says there is “no question” in her mind that President Donald Trump is a racist – but that she doesn’t intend on talking about it much.
“Do you believe President Trump is racist?” Anderson Cooper asked the newly minted congresswoman from New York.
“Yeah, yeah. No question,” Ocasio-Cortez replied immediately.
“How can you say that?” Cooper asked.
“When you look at the words that he uses, which are historic dog-whistles of white supremacy,” she replied. When you look at how he reacted to the Charlottesville incident, when neo-Nazis murdered a woman. Versus how he manufactures crises, like immigrants seeking legal refuge on our borders.”
“It’s night and day,” she added.
The White House responded in a statement: “Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez’s sheer ignorance on the matter can’t cover the fact that President Trump supported and passed historic criminal justice reform, and has repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms.”
In the same interview, the 29-year-old Democrat-Socialist proposed slapping a tax as high as 70 percent on top earners to pay for her “Green New Deal”. “Call me a radical!” she exclaimed.

Why does YWN bother to report anything about this accident of the electoral system? She is one of the most ignorant people in Washington, and a total disgrace to Congress. It would be close to impossible for her to say anything smart, and then only if reading a script. If the goal is to mock her, we would have reason to question whether that is a good use of our time. Otherwise, it is silly to pay attention to her.
What she knows cannot fill the head of a pin. What she doesn’t know or understand is not only voluminous, but a tragedy that she accesses none of it – which she would desperately need to do her job.
When she hates white people that’s not racist? Exactly what does she mean Immigrants seeking legal refuge on our borders? Whose stopping anyone from coming here legally? I can’t believe we will have to deal with her for the next 4 years.
Because she’s in Congress and what she says now matters.

I mean, say what you want about her it’s pretty undisputable that Trump is a racist. Look at his history of how he treated blacks in his buildings in NYC. Then the Charlottesville riots where he equated both sides when one side was literal Nazis.

Yserbius123, Donald Trump just signed a bill that 53,000 non-violent offenders, many of the being Black or Hispanic. In addition, the bill will send 100 billion dollars into minority communities by 2025(unless a democrat stops it). His daughter is a Jew, he would never support Neo-Nazis. Yet if he went and condemmed them outright, he would be siding with Pro-Communist, Pro-Socialist, Pro-Marxist, Antifa members. And being that Antifa beats up everyone who doesnt agree with them, that is facsist. They want freedom of speech, but only for themselves. That is horrifying. The youth has been brainwashed beyond belief. I would know, I am 15, i see kids around me who are so anti Trump because they see stuff on the news and believe everything they hear. And when I ask them why they hate him so much, they usually say that he is racist. Then I ask why they think that, and they cannot answer that because they think because he is white and wealthy he is racist. Talk about racial profiling!
