Shevy’s Wigs Raises Thousands For Chai Lifeline Using The Chesed Fund Innovation


Shevy’s wigs, one of the most recognized names in the Sheitel industry, decided to harness the power of The Chesed Fund to raise money for Chai Lifeline. Inspired by their daughter’s close involvement with Chai Lifeline and Camp Simcha, the good folks at Shevy’s ran a campaign wherin every woman who donated $25 to Chai Lifeline, would get entered into a drawing to win a free wig.

The campaign was targeted to the thousands of Instagram followers on the Shevy’s Wigs account, and was promoted via Instagram stories, posts, and a link in the account profile to The Chesed Fund. A testament to the power of a dedicated audience, the campaign raised thousands of dollars from over 100 individuals who took part in the campaign.

Shevy’s Chesed Fund campaign description states, “We’ve heard from so many people suffering from life-altering diseases that being able to put on a wig and look ones best has given them the push they needed to get up and fight another day!” This is a remarkable use of one’s own business to do good for the community.
