Nazi Supporter Released On Bail

YW-Wilkes-Barre SS-0031.jpg(Click HERE for photos) Alleged Nazi supporter Nora Rynkiewicz emerged from the Luzerne County Correctional Facility around 1:45PM today after her family posted $35,000 bail. She was arrested as a suspect in spray-painting Swastikas on the Wilkes Barre Shul last Shabbos (reported HERE on YWN). The 18-year-old Plymouth native declined comment about the charges she faces as she walked from the prison to her parents’ waiting vehicle.

To remain free, authorities issued Rynkiewicz a set of restrictions. They include she seeks mental health treatment, stays in school, continues working and does not contact a juvenile co-defendant. She also is forbidden from using her computer, which she used to run her online profile that is filled with white supremacist and Nazi propaganda.

At her arraignment Thursday night, Rynkiewicz said she has been treated for mental issues since age 13. Meanwhile, police did not charge Rynkiewicz’s juvenile accomplice on Friday as expected. The charges should come early next week in juvenile court. The girl, a 17-year-old from Wilkes-Barre, is facing the same charges as Rynkiewicz: institutional vandalism, criminal mischief, ethnic intimidation and criminal conspiracy.
