Police are investigating a wild gun battle between an NYPD officer and a suspected robber in the University Heights section of the Bronx. Two innocent bystanders were hit in the crossfire and the suspect is recovering in the hospital after the officer fired dozens of shots at him.

Another trigger happy NYPD cop. This is the direct result of poor, even negligent, training. Hurling lead with wild abandon, I’m certain, is not taught in the academy. This yahoo mustn’t have been paying attention. He should be fired and indicted for such recklessness. Absolutely no excuse.
