Shulem Lemmer performed the National Anthem before the start of the Nets – Cavaliers game at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday night, the 2nd night of Chanukah.
In between quarters, Chabad Rabbis held a Menorah lighting ceremony.
Performing our national anthem, the Star Spangled Banner, at tonight’s @BrooklynNets vs. @cavs game in The @barclayscenter! Special thanks to CTeen and @ChabadOrgNews for paving the way for such a Kiddush Hashem. pic.twitter.com/r2Sjucf5mQ

Is this what the message of Chanukah is? Whats next, bringing bread to the Seder table?
Its called dispersing the darkness or spreading the light. What does bread on Passover have to do with this?
its more like bringing matzah to the market so those that dont make it to the seder get a piece to.
Hey GM……never heard of pirsumei nisa? 14,328 nefashos should qualify for a pirsum….other than neis Chanukah, the other neis is that the Nets still managed to find a way of losing to the Cavs even without Lebroun James.
The nets would’ve won if caris levert hadn’t gotten injured. He got injured about a month ago. @Git meshige, different strokes for different folks. Maybe you wouldn’t do this but there are people out there who want to spread the love that they have to offer.
Incredible Kiddush Hashem! Now everyone knows that there are Chasidic Jews with good voices and some can and do perform as well or better than any non-jew! What a beautiful message to the world!
