In April 1990, President George H.W. Bush met in the Oval Office with a delegation that included current Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Joel Rav Aron Teitelbaum, Kiryas Joel Mayor Abe Weider, Satmar President Leibish Lefkowitz Z”L, Rabbi Hertz Frenkel, & other activists.
Bush passed away on Friday night at age 94.
