Although there is no specific intelligence to suggest an attack is imminent, the terror threat level in the UK remains at “Severe” which means an attack is highly likely.

To prepare Jewish communities around the world to deal with the aftermath of terror attacks an English speaking training team from Magen David Adom led by Mr Uriel Goldberg, flew in from Israel to provide a four hour course.

The course, called “The First 7 minutes” which consists of theory and practical training specifically designed for security personnel worldwide on how to respond, treat patients and save lives in a Mass Casualty Incident or a Terror Attack until the arrival of emergency medical teams.

We daven that we should never have to put this training to use however Shomrim are taking steps to ensure its volunteers have the requisite knowledge, skills and training so they are best prepared.
