As the measles outbreak continues to spread in Orthodox Jewish communities around the globe, YWN published a poll asking readers if Yeshivas should keep unvaccinated children out of school. The results were overwhelmingly in favor of the affirmative.
More than 50,000 people participated in the poll, with 89% saying that the Yeshivas should keep the children out of school.
It should be noted that the health departments in most areas continue to support and highly encourage the exclusion of non-vaccinated children from schools, preschools and daycares in outbreak areas. These entities have the authority to make that decision when an outbreak has been declared by the local Health Departments. The age range so far for the current outbreak is 6 months to 27 years old.
The following is some information from the YWN poll:

question were people able to vote more than once from the same computer?
Was there any voter fraud?
Very nice but it won’t change anyone’s mind.
Keep the polls coming
People weren’t allowed to vote twice on the same device I’m pretty sure.
Would love to know if YWN has a map showing where the pro vs. anti responses were located!
Also, would love to know if this data is being shared with any orgs that it might make a difference to.
